Learn IT fundamentals, the cybersecurity landscape, malware, enterprise security architecture, hardware virtualisation, network design, security devices, Windows hardening, mobile device security, and third-party risk assessment. Practical labs: Hyper-V, VMware, Oracle VirtualBox, Windows hardening, and Packet Tracer.

Weeks 1–3

02Application Security

Learn secure software development, web application security, API security, mobile application security, and secure development principles. Practical labs: Kali Linux, Windows Server, SQL injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), OWASP ZAP, HostedScan, Pentest-Tools, Ostorlab, and BrowserStack.

Weeks 4–5

03Security Engineering

Learn perimeter security, cloud security, security automation, network attacks, authentication, identity & access management, and defense-in-depth. Practical labs: software firewall configuration, man-in-the-middle attack simulation, and Wireshark network analysis.

Weeks 6–8

04Risk & Vulnerability Management

Learn risk assessment, vulnerability management, monitoring & auditing, cryptography, hashing, and public key infrastructure. Practical labs: enterprise risk assessment, Nessus vulnerability scanning, file hash verification, and classical encryption exercises.

Weeks 9–10

05Enterprise Security Operations

Learn security protocols, business continuity, disaster recovery, social engineering, incident response, digital forensics, security frameworks, and security policies. Practical labs: RSA key generation, Windows credential analysis, phishing simulation, digital forensics investigation, and Active Directory deployment.

Weeks 11–15

06Career Development & Capstone

Learn cybersecurity career paths, portfolio development, professional communication, and industry best practices, then complete a comprehensive enterprise cybersecurity capstone covering enterprise network design, vulnerability assessment, web application security testing, risk assessment, security architecture, incident response planning, Active Directory deployment, and a final technical presentation.
